• It is a quarter past two.
Jam dua lewat seperempat.
• It’s past midnight.
Hari telah lewat tengah malam.
• They walk past my house.
Mereka berjalan melewati rumahku.

38. Round (mengelilingi)
• They sat round the table.
Mereka duduk mengelilingi meja.
• They are running round the park.
Mereka sedang berlari mengelilingi taman itu.

39. Since (semenjak, sejak)
• I like mango since childhood.
Saya suka mangga semenjak (masih) kanak-kanak.
• He has studied English here since last year.
Dia telah belajar bahasa Inggris sejak tahun lalu.
• Since when do you stay up till midnight?
Sejak kapan kau bergadang sampai tengah malam.
• I haven’t been there since then.
Sejak itu saya belum pernah (berkunjung) ke sana.

40. Through (melalui, lewat)
• I can see them through the window.
Saya dapat melihat mereka melalui jendela.
• I saw a hunter walk through the forest.
Saya melihat seorang pemburu berjalan melalui hutan.
• She drive through the town in two hours.
Dia naik mobillewat kota itu dalam dua jam.

41. Throughout (di seluruh, sepanjang)
• Bali is the most famous island throughout the world.
Bali adalah pulau yang terkenal di seluruh dunia.
• The new program of the family planning will be socialized throughout
the year.
Program baru KB itu akan disosialisasikan sepanjang tahun.

42. Till (sampai, hingga)
• He always studies from ten till midnight.
Saya selalu belajar dari jam sepuluh sampai tengah malam.
• I love you till the end of life.
Saya mencintaimu hingga akhir hayat.
• The new shop opens from morning till night.
Toko baru itu buka dari pagi hingga malam.
