b. Jika kata bendanya dimengerti:
Kata benda yang dimengerti, jika possessive adjective diikuti dengan kata
benda (noun) + and + possessive pronoun, misalnya:
his horse and mine
her flowers and yours
my house and yours

Beberapa contoh penggunaannya dalam kalimat:
1. His horse and mine (my horse) are both tired.
Kudanya dan kudaku kedua-duanya letih.
2. Her flowers and yours (your flowers) are beautiful.
Bunga-bunganya dan bunga-bungamu indah.
3. My house and yours (your house) are big.
Rumahku dan rumahmu besar.

c. Possessive pronoun itu didahului oleh “of”:
Kata ganti milik didahului oleh preposisi “of”, misalnya:
that horse of his
that cat of hers
those flowers of yours

Beberapa contoh penggunaannya dalam kalimat:
1. That horse of his is tired.
Kuda miliknya itu letih.
2. That cat of hers is white.
Kucing miliknya itu putih.
3. Those flowers of yours are beautiful.
Bunga-bunga milikmu itu indah.

d. Possessive pronoun itu sesudah “of”
Kata ganti milik diletakkan sesudah “of”, misalnya:
a friend of mine (one of my friends)
a house of ours (one of our houses)
a kitten of theirs (one of their kittens)

Beberapa contoh penggunaannya dalam kalimat:
1. He is a friend of mine.
Dia adalah teman saya.
2. This is a house of ours.
Ini adalah rumah kami.
3. That is a kitten of theirs.
Itu adalah kucing mereka
Penjelasan:
a friend of mine: seorang teman milik saya.
a house of ours: sebuah rumah milik kami bersama.
a kitten of theirs: seekor anak kucing milik mereka bersama.
