3. Dapat dirangkaikan dengan article “the”, dalam bentuk tunggal,
misalnya:
• Let us bathe in the river.
Mari kita mandi di sungai itu.
• The bread is made from the flour.
Roti terbuat dari tepung.
• The syrup is made from water and sugar.
Sirup terbuat dari air dan gula.
• He teaches at the SMP I in Terara.
Ia mengajar di SMP I Terara.

4. Dapat diikuti kata “some” atau “any”, yang memiliki arti “sedikit”,
misalnya:
• I want some tea.
Saya ingin sedikit teh.
• He bought some milk yesterday.
Dia membeli sedikit susu kemarin.
• Do you have any butter?
Apakah anda mempunyai sedikit mentega?
• Have you any paper?
Apakah Anda mempunyai kertas?

5. Dapat dirangkaikan dengan kata “all of”, “none of”, atau “a little
(of)”, misalnya:
all of the chalk (semua kapur)
none of the chalk (tak satupun kapur)
all of the sand (semua pasir)
none of the sand (tak satupun pasir)
all of the paper (semua kertas)
none of the paper (tak satupun kertas)
all of the coffee (semua kopi)
