• The sun is not rising in the east now.
Matahari sedang tidak terbit di sebelah timur sekarang.
• My mother is not going to market on foot.
Ibuku sedang tidak pergi ke pasar dengan berjalan kaki.
• Mother is not cooking rice in the kitchen now.
Ibu sedang tidak memasak nasi di dapur sekarang.
• Reza is not talking to Alma.
Reza sedang tidak berbicara dengan Alma.

3) Present Perfect Tense
Pola kalimat negatif pada bentuk present perfect tense adalah
sebagai berikut:

Kalimat Verbal :(S+Have/Has+Not+Verb III+o/c)
Kalimat Nominal :(S+Have/Has+Been+Not+Non Verb+o/c)

Beberapa contoh penggunaannya dalam kalimat:
• Aldo hasn`t lived in Mataram for three years.
Aldo belum tinggal di Mataram selama tiga tahun.
• He hasn`t borrowed the book since last week.
Dia belum meminjam buku itu sejak minggu lalu.
• They haven`t seen the film.
Mereka belum menonton film itu.
• We haven`t read the lesson.
Kami belum membaca pelajaran itu.
• I haven`t been here from four o’clock.
Saya belum berada di sini dari jam empat.

4) Present Perfect Progressive
Pola kalimat negatif pada bentuk present perfect progressive tense
adalah sebagai berikut:

(S+Have/Has+Not+Been +Verb l+lng+o/c)

• He has not been laying on the bed all day.
Dia sudah tidak berbaring di atas tempat tidur sepanjang hari.
• She has not been playing the piano since this morning.
Dia sudah tidak bermain piano sejak pagi ini.
• They have not been working for three hours.
Mereka sudah tidak bekerja selama tiga jam.
• He has not been sitting here since six o’clock
Dia sudah tidak duduk di sini sejak pukul enam.
