Pola kalimat negatif interogatif pada bentuk present progressive
tense adalah sebagai berikut:

Am/is/are+Not+S+Verb l+lng +o/c

Beberapa contoh di bawah ini:

• Is not the sun rising in the east now?
Tidakkah matahari sedang terbit di sebelah timur sekarang?
• Is not my mother going to market on foot?
Tidakkah ibuku sedang pergi ke pasar dengan berjalan kaki?
• Is not mother cooking rice in the kitchen now?
Tidakkah ibu sedang memasak nasi di dapur sekarang?
• Is not Reza talking to Alma?
Tidakkah Reza sedang berbicara dengan Alma?

3) Present Perfect Tense
Pola kalimat negatif interogatif pada bentuk present perfect tense
adalah sebagai berikut:

Kalimat Verbal : (Have/Has+Not+S+Verb III+o/c)
Kalimat Nominal : (Have/Has+Not+S+Been+Non Verb+o/c)

Perhatikan beberapa contoh di bawah ini:

• Hasn`t Aldo lived in Mataram for three years?
Tidakkah Aldo telah tinggal di Mataram selama tiga tahun?
• Hasn`t he borrowed the book since last week?
Tidakkah dia telah meminjam buku itu sejak minggu lalu?
• Haven`t they seen the film?
Tidakkah mereka telah menonton film itu?
• Haven`t they read the lesson?
Tidakkah mereka telah membaca pelajaran itu?
• Haven`t you been here from four o’clock?
Tidakkah kamu telah berada di sini dari jam empat?

4) Present Perfect Progressive Tense
