Dalam hal pangkat (power), ungkapan to + the ordinal number + power
diterjemahkan menjadi pangkat sekian (sesuai dengan angka bilangan
ordinalnya), misalnya:
3 5 = three to the fifth power is 243

= three to the power of five is 243/3 to the power of 5 is 243
5 3 = five to third power is 125
78 21 = seventy – eight to the twenty first power is …..
10 3 = what is ten to the third power?
berapakah sepuluh pangkat tiga?
= what is 10 with the power of 3?
berapakah 10 pangkat 3?

Istilah square diterjemahkan dengan pangkat dua atau kuadrat, dan cubic
diterjemahkan dengan pangkat tiga atau kubik, misalnya:

3 2 = three square (tiga kuadrat, tiga pangkat dua)

3 3 = three cubic (tiga kubik, tiga pangkat tiga)

Ungkapan raise to a power diterjemahkan menjadi dipangkatkan, misalnya:
Raised to the eighth power (dipangkatkan delapan),
misalnya:
5 4 = five raised to the forth power (lima dipangkatkan
empat)
